Audio guest book questions
What is an audio guest book?
A way for guests to leave you recorded voice messages instead of, or as well as, signing a book. With Snap the Knot, guests record from their own phone after scanning your QR code.
Do guests need an app?
No. Recording works in the phone’s web browser. Guests just allow microphone access when asked.
How long can each message be?
Up to 2 minutes per message. Guests can send more than one.
Who can hear the messages?
Only you and your partner, if you’ve invited them to your account. Guest messages are private to the couple.
Can I download the recordings?
Yes. You can play and download each voice message from your dashboard.
Which plans include voice messages?
The $39 Photos, Videos & Voice plan and the $59 Photos + Videos + Prints plan. Both are one-time payments.
What if a guest’s browser can’t record?
They’ll see a note to try another browser, and they can leave a text message instead if you’ve turned text messages on.
